Hall of Jian Ben Printing Exhibition (The technique of Jian Ben carved printing)

Jian Ben refers to ancient books which were printed and published in ancient Jianzhou area (Jianning state), north of Fujian Province. In Oct, 2005, the technique of Jian Ben carved printing was listed the first batch of Fujian intangible cultural heritage protection project. The exhibition hall lies in the Jianzhan porcelain cultural street of Jianyang. Its aim is to display the history of ancient splendid carved printing history and build the base of printing culture. There are nearly 300 pieces/ sets cultural relics in the exhibition hall, and 20 unique pieces of carved boards carved by inheritors. There is also an area of experience and interaction, you can learn how to carve and print on the spot. In 2015, it was listed the protection base of printing culture of Fujian Province. In March, 2016, it was named Jianyang Branch of China Printing Museum.
