Chaotianmen Tower is located on the East Street of Tingzhou Town and was built in the Tang Dynasty. The first section of the city gate is a second entrance building, which is 5.9 meters deep, 4.48 meters wide and 4.62 meters high. The second section was expanded during the Ming Dynasty, with a depth of 7 meters, a width of 2.85 meters and a height of 3.12 meters. Now it still retains wooden bolts on the threshold of the Ming Dynasty. The city building is a double-story castle with brick, stone and wooden structures. It covers an area of 325 square meters and has a construction area of 620 square meters.

It was announced as the seventh batch of national key cultural relic protection sites in May 2013.
