Guanzhaishan Mountain

Guanzhaishan has great scientific research value and aesthetic value. Guanzhaishan Mountain is named after its main peak, which resembles the cap worn by the ancient imperial censor and conveys the idea of integrity and uprightness. It also has the reputation of “Hakka holy mountain”. Guanzhaishan Mountain covers a total area of 123 square kilometers, which is a typical Danxia Landform in its prime time. It is located in the source of Minjiang River, Tingjiang River, and Jiulong River. It is characterized by peaks, lakes, springs and temples. The landscape is grand, strange, quiet, and elegant. It is known as the best landscape of the upper reaches of the rivers in Fujian Province. There are more than 10 ancient academies, 30 cliff carvings built since the Song Dynasty, and more than 100 calligraphy works of ancient and modern celebrities such as Lin Zexu, Ji Xiaolan, Luo Dan and Qiao Yu. It is a national scenic spot, national 4A scenic spot, national natural heritage and national geopark.
