The Red Army Slogan Wall on Lingshang Street is located in Taining County. During the Agrarian Revolution period, main force of the Red Army “liberated Taining and marched eastward” for three times from June 1931 to July 1933. Comrade Zhou Enlai and Zhu De led the First Red Army here to command the Eastern Army and regional battles in Fuhe River in Jiangxi, and won plenty of significant battles in succession. During long period of construction and struggle in the Soviet area, many revolutionary relics, from the headquarter of the Red Army to the old residence of Zhu De and Zhou Enlai, the Red Army’s slogan wall, the Red Army well and the bulletin were well preserved in the block. Among them, The Red Army Slogan Wall on Lingshang Street was announced as the sixth batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection sites in May 2005.
